Sarkar which also means government, is a Tamil movie that has been released on 6 November 2018. It stars all time favorite actor Vijay alongside Keerthy suresh. Sarkar is one of the movie which brought out a lot of issues and challenges that leaders, consumers, government and people have to face in their lives. The directors made no compromise and clearly showcased the movie scenes which are usually real life issues.

This movie amazed me in the sense that it emphasizes on the importance of voting and choosing the right leader for the country. It also shows that hard work can lead to success. Vijay who was once a fisherman’s son became one of the USA-based highly successful NRI businessman in the world due to his hardwork and objectives. This movies shows that audience have different perspectives of life and teaches lessons that we can learn through different scenes in this movie. For instance, it shows that despite Vijay is one of the top businessman in USA, he came all the way from there to Chennai in order to vote for the elections happening at his hometown.
Furthermore, the movie shows that being a human, it is important to know about ones human rights and all the other rights, so that no one uses you or exploits you in one way or another. Everyone should be aware of their rights and should fight for them if they are taken away from them. Also through the movie , it can be seen that media and technology can be used in a better way to improve the world and reduce poverty as, nowadays, mostly everyone has a mobile phone and through a mobile phone and social media platforms, anything can be done to save the world. Being a Corporate Criminal and a highly successful businessman, Vijay still made sure that everybody gets their human rights and all the ministries are working effectively.
This movie also paid homage to great leaders who changed the world by using their names in dialogues and mentioning their good deeds. It also shows how unity helps to change the bad into good. Also the actor had to make a lot of changes; at first he was alone and then he got a team who was ready to support him to make the big change.

No indian movie is without a song. Obviously there were bunch of songs which were well illustrated and colourful. The soundtracks were composed by A.R. Rahman and song lyrics were done by Vivek. The songs location were well-chosen and the songs had meaningful lyrics about culture, power and justice. There are five different songs in the movie which are Simtaangaran, Oru Viral Puratchi, Top Tucker, OMG Ponnu and CEO In The House.

So, before it’s too late, make sure you grab your tickets as it is only Rm 15.50 and it is currently playing in mostly all cinemas in Malaysia. If you are a student, do not forget your student identity card as you will get student discount. One last thrilling deal is that in case you are at Berjaya times square after 10 pm, then you will be able to benefit from special prices i.e. RM8. Hope you all will like it as i did and do not worry about the language as i am not that good in tamil either but the subtitles helped a lot along with the story and actions.😉
